“The sisterhood, energy, vibes, and vendors were impeccable and I don’t think we could have picked a better market to launch this in.” Those are the words of Necole Kane the founder and creator of xoNecole a platform committed to elevating young women of color through various content verticals, including beauty, wellness, and relationships as well as empower and amplify women-owned brands.

On August 3rd the 1st Annual ElevateHer Crawl took place in Atlanta that gleamed all types of #blackgirlmagic! We participated as a vendor and our Founder Shavone Riggins graced the stage and spoke on the panel “You’ve Self-funded Your Business. Now What?” In which our founder expressed the importance of “having a tight team” to sustain growth, alongside Founder Janell Stephens of Camille Rose, Founder and CEO Alicia Aes of Range Beauty and Host Dana Blair.

We demoed our 10” tapered cut style by the hands of Onye Styles. Using 3 packs of 10” Toni Curl and 10” Carrie Curl.

It’s always great to meet new Curlfriends and introduce them to Curlkalon and all the benefits of a low-maintenance and stress-free protective style can be part of their healthy hair journey.

Our Curlfriends are the best! There was so much elevation happening every moment at #ElevateHer2019! We enjoyed the final and encouraging words by Will Packer, “Nobody Cares, Work Harder!”. Looking forward to ElevateHer 2020!
